On Monday four visitors from Utrecht joined the Leeds’ Tour de France logistics teams to learn how the city is preparing for the 2014 Grand Depart. During a busy day of meetings the group met key organisers from Leeds City Council, Welcome to Yorkshire and TdF Hub 2014 Ltd!
LCC Chief Executive Tom Riordan invited the group to visit during TdF celebrations in France earlier this year, as Utrecht will be hosting the 2015 Grand Depart. Throughout the day ideas were shared and Utrecht representatives plan to return on 5th July 2014 for the Yorkshire Grand Depart.
