Our partner city Lille in France is currently recruiting two volunteers from its partner cities for an 8-month paid work experience in the International Relations Service of the city. The placement is about encouraging international cooperation and solidarity and will start in October or November 2018. The volunteers will be working 25 hours per week and are entitled to a compensation of €580.62 per month.
To be eligible, applicants must be under 25 years old, have a good knowledge of the French language and be motivated to work in an international relations department. There are no other conditions regarding specific skills or previous experience.
The volunteers will act as ambassadors for cooperation and international solidarity, look after intercultural projects and work with stakeholders of international cooperation projects, foster international cooperation through networking, and assist the International Relations Service in hosting foreign delegations and events related to international exchange.
Once the volunteers are selected to come to France, the Mission Locale of the City will help them and take care of the administrative procedures regarding their stay in Lille.
